Materials List

Hi everyone! Please see below the list of supplies I use in this class.

Paper

  • For a basic paper, I use this one from Crayola (Crayola marker and watercolor pad 10×8 50 page) and is good for the monoprinting and stamps
  • Canson Mixed Media paper A4 /letter size (this is the one I prefer for my rubber stamp creating)

Inks and paints

  • Acrylic paint will be fine if that is all you have access to right now. (I use a golden paint in my demos, but if you can get the Golden OPEN acrylics as they are slow drying and perfect for printmaking)
  • I also use this black and white block printing water based ink. (from Essdee)
  • For stamping I use two colors – brick red and vintage stain distress ink pads from Tim Holz
  • Brayer/Ink Roller (I use this one from Essdee)

Stamp Carving

Mono Printing

  • Mono printing plates (I use these from Grafix 6×8 inches, but I would recommend you purchase an A4 size if you would like to make larger prints
  • Gelli Plate (I use the Polygel gel press plate 8×10 inches HERE) I will also be using this in Episode 9

BONUS lessons

  • Foam board – you can usually get this in the kids section in a craft store and they come in large A1/A2 sheets
  • Hot glue gun stamps – I use a glue gun and glue sticks to create mine. This is a bonus lesson, so it totally optional.

Other basic materials

  • Palette for mixing paint and rolling out your ink
  • Wet wipes or damp cloth to clean
  • Pencil, compass etc
  • Craft knife
  • Scissors
